Abstract Let $f:X\to X $ be a dominant self-morphism of an algebraic variety. Consider the set $\Sigma _{f^{\infty }}$ $f$-periodic subvarieties small dynamical degree (SDD), subset $S_{f^{\infty maximal elements in }}$, and $S_f$ $f$-invariant }}$. When $X$ is projective, we prove finiteness $P_f$ prime divisors with SDD give optimal upper bound $$\begin{align*} &\sharp P_{f^n}\le d_1(f)^n(1+o(1))\end{align*}$$as $n\to \infty $, where $d_1(f)$ 1st dynamic degree. group (with $f$ being translation isogeny), or (not necessarily complete) toric variety, S_{f^n}\le d_1(f)^{n\cdot\dim(X)}(1+o(1))\end{align*}$$as $n \to which slightly generalizes conjecture S.-W. R-Invariant Unification with Dynamical Higgs Multiplets
We construct R-invariant grand unification models with composite Higgs multiplets. Higgs doublets are massless due to the R symmetry, which is not spontaneously broken at the unification scale, while Higgs triplets get large masses from a dynamically generated superpotential, which is allowed by an R anomaly.

According to Medvedev and Scanlon [MS14], a polynomial f(x) ∈ Q̄[x] of degree d ≥ 2 is called disintegrated if it is not conjugate to xd or to ±Cd(x) (where Cd is the Chebyshev polynomial of degree d). Let n ∈ N, let f1, . . . , fn ∈ Q̄[x] be disintegrated polynomials of degrees at least 2, and let φ = f1×· · ·×fn be the corresponding coordinate-wise self-map of (P1)n. Let X be an irreducible sub...
متن کاملThe invariant density of a chaotic dynamical system with small noise
We consider a chaotic dynamical system perturbed by noise and calculate an approximate invariant density when the noise level is small. Because of the special structure of the dynamical system, the e ective support of the invariant density is much smaller than the noiseless attractor. This behavior is captured by the asymptotic form of the invariant density, which is given explicitly.
متن کاملDetermining large groups and varieties from small subgroups and subvarieties
This course will consist of two parts with the common theme of analyzing a geometric object via geometric sub-objects which are ‘small’ in an appropriate sense. This is an expanded course outline which includes some background references as well as some exercises relevant to this background. For an explanation of terminology used in the next three paragraphs, see the following sections. In the ...

We review some basic terminology in dynamical systems with the purpose of bridging some of the communication gaps that may exist between mathematicians and engineers at this conference. Recent results on panel flutter and on the existence of horseshoes in the dynamics of a forced beam are briefly sketched to illustrate some of the concepts of interest to both groups. 1. Dynamical Sys terns on H...
